HAHAHAHAHAHAHA YES!!!!!! that was sweet man. I enjoyed it thouroughly. What was that, the RS-Amen? One of the Hunter breaks? Whatever it is, I know I've used it.. I think I even used it in the track I submitted this month.. we have similar tastes..
so the arrangement is dope, and you did a good job with the E-Qing as well.
I have ONE complaint. The wobbly part of the bassline, it sounds really distorted, in the un-intentional way. Sounds like it's peaking or something, I'm not sure, but it needs some cleaning up.
8.7, only a couple tracks to go and this is my favorite. definitely.

this one also stands way above most of the rest in overall quality between arrangment and mix. Nice work.
arrangment: pretty solid. I would like to hear the strings come down a bit, and they could probably use some proccessing to sound less synth like. maybe some reverb and/or a touch of delay/chorus.
eq-ing: the drums sound great, and the bassline after the break sounds great too. while it's not exactly my style, I still know it sounds good. Not much clashing happening between frequencies, so on this end you've done very well.
I'm gonna give it an 8.5, tying you with one of the other songs I've voted on so far. Nice work, and you're definitely putting yourself way ahead of most of the pack here. (10 would be impossible for me and most of the rest of us, it would have to be a major label worthy tune, like metalheadz or renegade or valve or ram or whatever to get a 10 from me.)

on this one I'm going to be brief, because I only have 2 complaints: the kick drum is lost in the mix, particularly when the bass is hitting, and also the 2nd part of the bassline, not the 'wow-wow-wow' part but the more straight part, just doesn't sound right to me. kinda muffled. needs character. some more top end.
Other than that, this is the best one I've heard yet this comp, taking both arrangement and mastering into account. Judging you against your peers I'm gonna give it a 8.5 - solid. I really like the guitars in the intro, and so far this is the only track this month that I would consider mixing.

see we're getting somewhere now. this is the 3rd or 4th track that I've been pretty impressed by.
arrangment: I would have liked more of the dirty-er section that happens about halfway through, and this track could have probably benefitted from a breakdown section seperting the 2 vibes. (like, intro/main light part/breakdown/main heavy part/small break/outro, or whatever) I like the leads especially, reminiscent of some of the john b/beta catalogue there, which I've always been a BIG fan of.
eq-ing: there needs to be more fluidity between the 2 step break and the ameny break frequency wise. The whole thing could probably use a unified snare to help tie the two together. I also thought that the high hats through much of the first half were too loud, and may have too much mids in them.
I'm gonna go ahead and give this a 7.5. It's good, and I mean it, but it does still need some work.

funnily enough, this was the opposite of many of these other tracks for me. At first I thought I was going to hate it, and by the end you had me.
arrangement: feels more like a stand alone single than something I would mix, if that makes sense. I like that there are more than the obligatory one or two grooves. I don't know if you felt like you had to come under a certain time constraint, but I felt like there could have been some more space with no vocal at the end. (for mixing purposes.) maybe a 2nd version of the track called "the 12" extended remix" like they used to do 'back in the day'. Anyway, I dug it.
eq-ing: pretty solid. I'm curious about your lead lines, because to me they sound a little un-polished, but my first guess is that it's intentional, that you're going for a more hip-hop sound. I also felt like the drums were a little loud in the mix.
I have to admit the track isn't really my thing, but I do think you did a good job. I'm gonna go with a 7.

arrangement: could use an intro. I've always been kinda against the whole instantly starting with full drums and sub bass. I always enjoy more the tracks that start with subtle atmoshperics and just tease the main riff until the whole thing explodes. Besides that, this is okay. Not very exciting, but certainly has its place amongst the more minimal tracks that you can mix for 3 minutes straight. Reminds me of a lot of my record collection from roughly 2000-2001, only higher bpm.
eq-ing: not much to bitch about here, it all sounded pretty good to me. I'm gonna give it a 7, you're losing points for sounding too much like too many before you, but that's it.

arrangment: this track is more my speed. Kinda dark, heavy drums. My only major complaint is that the little 'go' voice is HELLA annoying. It was cool for about 5 seconds, but after that, let it go man. Let it go.
eq-ing: here's where this track falls short. If it sounded better eq-wise it would be my new favorite of the bunch so far. I don't know where to begin... The drums need more punch, and probably need to come up a little volume wise. They are the driving force of the track and need to be treated as such. The bassline is good, but again, doesn't sound like I know you want it to sound like. I can tell by the arrangment that it's supposed to KNOCK but it just doesn't. If you're not already, try layering a sub underneath it, and then roll back the sub freq. from the lead bass sound you already have. That should give the mids and tops of your bass some room to breath. your arrangement starts you off at a 9, but I gotta take off a couple points for the uber-annoying 'go voice' and the mastering issues, so it gets a 6.5.

arrangement: pretty good, but here's my main thought on this track, and keep in mind I don't view this as being a bad thing, it's just how I see it. It sounds like background music for a video game. When the lead is playing I imagine my 12 year old self playing super castlevania IV on super nintendo. I can totally see this being picked up for a game boy advance title or something. Basically, much more arm chair than dance floor.
eq-ing: the whole thing sounds pretty thin. ESPECIALLY the intro. While I liked the half time beats for the intro, they just sound thin. It sounds a lot like it was mixed in a pair of mediocre headphones, or that it was recorded through a single microphone hanging above a pair of mediocre stereo speakers. I haven't looked at it with a frequencey analizer to tell you exactly what's wrong, but I can tell you the snare sounds distorted, and the mid frequencies of the lead are taking away from the mids of the drums. I'm gonna give this a 5, mostly losing points for the mastering, but holding onto a few for not reminding me of another artist.

dude, it happened again.
first few minutes I'm thinking its gonna be right up my alley. Then it comes out of the break and it's the same old sine sub wobbly bassline. fuck man, you really had me going for a second.
arrangment: pretty good. I just feel like the idea was lost during the execution. It started off sounding like it was gonna be a dark techy adventure and ended up being neither. The leads/drums do not go with the bassline. Sorry bro, but listening to this track was like biting into a snickers bar and finding raw ground beef on the inside.
eq-ing: no major complaints here, the leads may be a little brash, but not too much.
overall, I'm giving it a 5, and it pains me to do so because I can tell you have the skillz, but I feel pretty strongly about my complaints above.

arrangement: not bad, but I prefer tracks that build and release, this one is more of a monotone, where once you've heard the first minute you pretty much know what the next 4-5 minutes will sound like.
eq-ing: snare seems a bit brash for this track. Everything else is all mellow, and here's this THWACK-ing snare.. besides that pretty good mix.
I'm giving it a 5 cause it's really just not my thing. No offense I hope.

so I was excited about this one at first, but then when it came out of the breakdown it was a pretty big let down. It sounded like you were building up to something pretty huge, and then it just fell flat with the same old jump-uppy bassline and 2 step beat.
arrangment: the placment of your parts is good, you seem to have a good feel for the dnb record format, but I feel like I've heard this bassline a hundred times before.
eq-ing: snare is weak. needs either a boosted layer or just a boost itself, I'm not sure which. Honestly, I couldn't sit through it long enough to break it down much further than that.
You're gonna be mad, but I gotta give this a 4.5, and you're really only getting points for the arrangment outside of the bassline, and since this is drum n bass we're talking about, the bassline is virtually half the battle.

so here's the thing.
I loved it. It sounded great.
BUT,
It was only worth 1-2 minutes of track. It didn't GO anywhere. It didn't DO anything. It was practially 30 seconds of arrangment looped and repeated.
Consolidate it, and use it as an intro to a full track.
