Nice tune

Reminds me da darkside that got me into drum n bass 98 style, like some vintage John B (secrets)

Nasty filter bass business wicked tune.

Would definitely play this tune out

Only slight criticism is the sound quality is a little tiny bit duff, maybe it's just the MP3 compression, and the one you have at home is better but I would like to hear it proper crisp then it would be Phat

BrockIT by Terra-Rise: Shiver? Could be wrong as I

Shiver?

Could be wrong as I have never herd this before but it sounds that way.

Good sub bass, beats need to be crisper and a bit louder. The intro might be a bit to long and the strings a fraction to loud in the lower part of there frequency range and a bit to dull in there high mid compared to the rest of the tune. the mid part of the bass could maybe be a bit more defined and louder compared to the sub.

Don't get me wrong as I am not slating your tune in anyway on a whole it is wicked but being truthfully honest those are the things I would change if my opinion was asked for.

Good work

Samurai, you fuckin knows it

Simple chill out

Maybe a little bit more broken up beats near the beginning would be nice and more of the hectic beats bout 2 thirds of the way through.

Generally on the whole not to shabby. I like it even though I am not normally into chilled out D'n'B.

Light Crust Doughboys by 822: Was not sure about this one,

Submitted by Mike Native on Thu, 2006-06-01 16:39.

Was not sure about this one, but I have just smoked a big fat spliff and it's starting to grow on me. Really broken up beats, the tune reminds me more of Apex Twin than Drum n Bass, not strictly a bad thing but I have a feeling that some heads may not be feeling it as the vibe as it is quite different. Well produced all the sounds fit together. can't really say anything useful beyond that as you clearly know how to make beats n ting. peace out mike

Gimlet by Bladetone: Good tune like the bass and

Good tune like the bass and the dirty mid sound, not to into the meditation nonsence though, reminds me of self improvement cd's

I don't wan't to mark it down for the ambient noises as I know that people like that sort of vibe, and although not to my prefrence (it would be of the ambience was swaped for a lead or somthing with a more energetic vibe) it has been done well.

Hack A Hip by DMJ A.K.A Jossi: Like the Rolf Harris vox

Submitted by Mike Native on Thu, 2006-06-01 18:00.

Like the Rolf Harris vox before the drop "can you guess what it is yet?"

Piss taking aside this is not a bad tune, I can see it doing well on the dance floor. Probably appeal to quite a few peeps as it has got quite a lot of energy and a strong melody, not to dark but not all ambient the right sort of balance. Like the arrangement only thing I could fault is the master sounds a bit to wide, maybe need to tighten the sounds together a bit more and bring the beats up a bit or they might get lost in a mix.

Obsessions by Decide: The intro of this tune

Submitted by Mike Native on Thu, 2006-06-01 17:53.

The intro of this tune really reminds me of something from exorcise the demons by source direct.

Like the beats good patterns, although it is not the sort of stuff that I would mix.

Whole thing could do with sounding a bit more upfront but not to bad at all.

Missy Says (Cop that shit) by QuiVeR: Whole tune is a bit to quite

Submitted by Mike Native on Thu, 2006-06-01 17:34.

Whole tune is a bit to quite and lacks punch and sub bass.

Idea (music) is not bad but it could be pulled off a bit better.
Sounds like you got some inspiration from Pendulum and Dillinga for some littlle bits of the tune.

Black Sky by Virus: Beats sound a bit to fucked

Submitted by Mike Native on Thu, 2006-06-01 16:23.

Beats sound a bit to fucked on this one.

Good tune but the whole thing is to distorted, it sounds like it was mastered a few db to loud. or you got a record and turned the gain up to 10 and recorded it.

Tunes always sound a bit more savage when you play them out so it is worth holding back and getting a slightly cleaner sound as ultimately you will be able to play it louder without is sounding shit and blowing your speakers.

butterfly in silver by synrgy: Not bad, a little bit muddy

Submitted by Mike Native on Thu, 2006-06-01 17:44.

Not bad, a little bit muddy sounding and a little bit clipped on some of the bass notes (though the clipping could be from the MP3) could do with a bit more energy to liven it up on a whole

Step Aside by DJ Shiver: Not bad but still sounds

Submitted by Mike Native on Thu, 2006-06-01 18:05.

Not bad but still sounds home made to me. I don't like the singing part and think on the whole it is not as strong as some of the other tunes in the competition.

innocence by Dj Obscure: This sounds a bit
