wow wow wow - this tune is just my cuppa tea - and the winner for me, can't really fault it - it feels wide and has so much depth - really beautiful soundscape with a driving bass line and the nicest drums with a wicked snare to compliment, can't praise the producer enough on this tune whoever it is get it sent off this would surely get signed infact I think you'd have a few labels q'ing up for it, you should be well chuffed Smiling

mmmm I think this is my second place - not cos its my cuppa tea sound wise but cos its a very good effort at the genre - the drums are nice maybe need a slight bit more beefing up?? - the reese' and sub are amazing really good work on them well done - i can see alot of people loving this vibe in a club situation does however get slightly relentless/monotonous in parts which I'm not sure is a good thing for this type of tune but each to their own as i could see a lot of my friends that are fans of this type of d and b proper loving this - overall well done you should be proud of this.

mixed beauty by hydrophonic: really like the start to

really like the start to this tune sets the atmosphere just right and the panning is good - although when the drums kick in at first just seems like they need a bit more beef or maybe just a different snare completely or maybe layering it with another snare after one of the breakdowns??? - the reese is very nice and sits well with the sub. Overall levels wise the tune sounds pretty good to me (all sits well) and the structure is good keeps the listener interested and has a good build and drop after the main breakdown- if you changed the drums this could be a signable track in my opinion - congrats whoever made this Smiling

Life by Bluntman: Kinda like the start to this

Kinda like the start to this the first vocal sample seems to have a slight clip on it though (have to ask is the full sample I'm mad about the boy by marianne faithfull??, other vocal samples good too) - anyways like the overall feel to this tune very goodlooking sounding in parts but then has very good contrasting sections almost trance/house sounding that works well. The bass seemed a bit overpowering at first though but then seems to sit better later on however I did notice some distortion here and there (could a just been my headphones though) I think a bit of limiting/compression wouldn't go a miss - nice work though I'd be chuffed if I'd made this - you've obviously got a very musical ear or can play an instrument or two??? congrats

#244, liked this track, nice use of sub and clean crisp drums, maybe could of done with a bit more variation throughout the tune but could see this going down well at a goodlooking night or an early evening track at any other night - good work.

Half Life 2 by DZ4: The two synth patterns go

The two synth patterns go together very well and i like the old skool almost electro kinda feel it has to it but when the drums kick in its kind of an anti climax you just want more beefier drums to compliment what is a good intro - the vocal sample sits well (bit of christina aint it??) but on one of the samples the last 'o' in a series of 3 is a bit quicker than the others so sounds a bit out. really like the breakdown very nicely done but when the drums kick back in its the same problem I just found myself hoping for something more punchy and beefy, plus it needs an outro - overall a good effort though keep up the good work Smiling

PSYCHOTRONIC WARFARE by DARK GENIUS: The samples seem to be

The samples seem to be occasionally drowned out by the reese and more work is needed on the drums they sound a bit flat and lifeless and also a bit out of time sometimes (not sure if this is meany to be?) or it could be just that the layering doesn't go with the two sets??? not bad work with atmospherics though quite like the moodyness and darkness but overall the tune needs more work in my opinion a good effort though keep at it.

diabetic by lmc: Errrr dunno what to make of

Errrr dunno what to make of this, gotta give 10/10 for originality and not sticking to the standards, but this tune really is all over the place levels wise - very muddy in places too and some of the timings are abit off aswell almost like you've done it live and not re -sequenced it??? The end just sounds like a different tune tacked on the end not really in keeping with the previous. The samples sound very poor too but this could have been what you were going for, that kinda lo-fi sound??? either way I don't like it as a tune at all but I'm sure theres some people out their that would appreciate this for its abstractness and total lack of respect for conforming Smiling
