The ideea came to me after a great dnb party and i needed to express my energy into a groovy, good vibe dnb track, altough i`m a bassline breaks producer.The theme of the song was simple... a bit retro but also new.I love and i`m addicted to analogue synthesizers and their fat, juicy sound...however i don`t actually own such piece of hardware but i have some samples cd`s for halion with those sounds.As the title says allmost all sounds are analogue based.I haven`t used loops exept the drumbeat wich is actually a resliced simple beat combined with one shot samples for adding a little complexity.The breakdown are actually the same beat but re-resliced and variated...a litlle delay added there.
The whole track was made with Nuendo 3.0 I've used reaktor a bit for a few effects.The main instrument remains Halion (a sampler)and lots of fx plugins.The analogue samples came from Modular system 200, Roland Juno 106, Roland JX3, and Prophet 5 (for the subbass).
The scratches were made on a software too It`s the OTS Turnatables, with a controller.Them were recorded in nuendo and i just corrected the timing a bit.Voices are samples too from acapellas.

THIS TUNE IF IT DOESNT WIN THE COMP THEN I WILL BE VERY SHOCKED!!!! ITS DEFINATELY THE WINNER IN MY BOOKS!!! Everything about it, the actual tune, the mix, the technical side of production, its all wicked!! TOP TOP WORK, WHO EVER MADE THIS....NICE1

nice this tune has a nice dark step 2 it really feelin the bass, theres only 1 criticism on one of the basses at the start tune has a "pop" at the start of it, but thats like a really minor fault man in fact i dont even think it was worth mentioning! well done man!

59 - Cool intro, and it kicks off hard, liking this already.  Heavy old skool groove.  Good atmospheres in the back.  The arrangement keeps it
interesting, though it could have ended 45s earlier.  Phat sounds overall though, production is pretty sweet.

nice intro. Builds upp perfectly. Dunno if I should call that a drop after the intro but it works very nicly as one. Drums are nice and clean. All elements works very well in this tune. Nice vibe. Good structure with breakdowns and drops workin very good. Great use of different elements. Keeps the track very intresting to lissen to. Sparingly use off reeces and focuses on other things instead very nice. Vocals FX work great. Scratches works great. Great production. Awesome track. This track was very close getting a 10 aswell as the third track in the battle I would rate a 10. But it falls short somehow. Maybe its cause Im more into different vibes. Its an amazing track though. Production is great.

loving those reverbed beats on the inrto man its sounds good, the dark sounds are nice aswelli like what uve donw with the vocal n bass notes. i like the drop i just expected it to be sicker, i think the bass wasnt heavy enough to justify the volume n pack of the beats, not far off i would have just liked it heavier, nice track though

Like the start!  Good mood throughout.. there’s one pad at the back that is wicked… I reckon this and the sub could come up a touch.  Hmmm…. Is that the sample from “Sonar” by Trace?  I like this.  Composition is excellent.  I reckon you could get some more fatness out of this.  Send it off to be mastered!
