Nice little change up from all the liquid tunes in the compo so far lol. Some dark vibes with this track, nice n clear beatz. That bassline is fucking sick, this track is nicely produced. Love the drum edits and change ups. Niceone mmmm I think this is mySubmitted by thinking on Tue, 2007-11-20 12:33.
mmmm I think this is my second place - not cos its my cuppa tea sound wise but cos its a very good effort at the genre - the drums are nice maybe need a slight bit more beefing up?? - the reese' and sub are amazing really good work on them well done - i can see alot of people loving this vibe in a club situation does however get slightly relentless/monotonous in parts which I'm not sure is a good thing for this type of tune but each to their own as i could see a lot of my friends that are fans of this type of d and b proper loving this - overall well done you should be proud of this. really fragmented break atSubmitted by hydrophonic on Tue, 2007-12-04 02:53.
really fragmented break at the intro, into a still-fragmented break, i love that kind of effect, where you find yourself swirling around, looking for the downbeat. pretty crunchy break featured for the intro, that pad is pretty menacing, though i feel it could use some more effects, perhaps phaser or flanger. i'm bracing myself for a real crusher, especially w/ this long siren effect. nice vocal sample, though i might hi pass it and throw some more reverb on it. ooh, that reece is dirty as hell. some seriously good stuff here, you made VERY nice use of syncopation and repetition to throw the listener off. when it finally starts rolling along again, it's a welcome return from the syncopation. this feels like it was intended more for the dancefloor as a darker, ambient type tune, than a brutal heavy metal type tune. i think more of that filthy bass would certainly be welcome. yeah man, well done overall. some pretty unique ideas in this piece. there are not many elements to it, and yet you manage to not sound samey. production is pretty tight, as is that Excellent use of samples andSubmitted by DARK GENIUS on Fri, 2007-11-30 16:59.
Excellent use of samples and loops, very technical! 243 - Evac - Beats andSubmitted by Contayjen on Sun, 2007-11-25 12:08.
243 - Evac - Beats and sounds are fucking evil, nice work. Only thing I dont like is the sequence that gets really repetitive that appears first around 2mins. I'd find this rhythm hard to dance to. Overall the sounds and mix are great but the arrangement could be more dancefloor-friendly in my opinion. #243 good eerie intro, withSubmitted by dj scape on Mon, 2007-12-03 17:48.
#243 good eerie intro, with the droning pads and buildup of the beats. beats sound very crisp and heavy.... like the drop into the breakdown with the vox, good sample by the way. man thats a wicked gnarly bass sound, very good! i like the edits on the beats. in places the tune doesn't seem to flow right, not nessessarily a bad thing i just mean if you was mixing it it may be hard. the mixdown sounds good to me. solid tune Professional sound, niceSubmitted by DZ4 on Fri, 2007-12-07 21:34.
Professional sound, nice mate. Nice break @ 1.50. Some nice elements in the beat, like the panning hats and the fact it keeps moving and changing, but i don't like the parts where it has a repetitive feel to the snare hits. The beat seems to clip at 3.37 or did i mis-hear? Rapid fire perc builds upSubmitted by Dj Obscure on Mon, 2007-12-10 08:21.
Rapid fire perc builds up nice, eerie pad working well. No delayed fx keeping it moving though, a nice eerie beep or chime delayed would have fitted perfectly there. That second pad, alarm type thing that comes in next is nice man. Works well with all the elements, nice evac samp. This reese is sounding nice, im only on phones at the mo as its well early, but yeah thats nice that. Pretty filthy this mate, this tune deserves an edge of your seat buildup, I'm guessing its quite new this track? I'ts got proper potential, feeling it. Niceone. |
