a little errie, quite like it though, put together wel. The amen loop that comes in needs a little bit more substance, sound really boxy. There now bottom end, frequencies need adjusting!! nice use of voice samples(it works), need to bring the bass up a bit more though cant really hear it. 102 - Okay, opening with aSubmitted by Contayjen on Mon, 2006-05-29 15:58.
102 - Okay, opening with a what sounds like a grainy Lil Jon crunk sample. Overall the track is a bit musically simplistic, but there are some good melodic ideas. The bassline needs to come up substantially..or give it some mids. No rhythm in the bassline either, so its almost invisible through most of the track, just coming in at the end with a growling reece. Good use of vocal samples, but they kind of carry the whole track. Lots of interesting changeups, like this is a kind of audio montage. Nothing too unpleasant about it though. nice tune! nice vocal lineSubmitted by Stockholm on Sat, 2006-05-27 07:00.
nice tune! nice vocal line in it same whit the melodi. the basline was not my fav. good mastering and breaks in it. funnily enough, this was theSubmitted by synrgy on Thu, 2006-05-25 20:18.
funnily enough, this was the opposite of many of these other tracks for me. At first I thought I was going to hate it, and by the end you had me. arrangement: feels more like a stand alone single than something I would mix, if that makes sense. I like that there are more than the obligatory one or two grooves. I don't know if you felt like you had to come under a certain time constraint, but I felt like there could have been some more space with no vocal at the end. (for mixing purposes.) maybe a 2nd version of the track called "the 12" extended remix" like they used to do 'back in the day'. Anyway, I dug it. eq-ing: pretty solid. I'm curious about your lead lines, because to me they sound a little un-polished, but my first guess is that it's intentional, that you're going for a more hip-hop sound. I also felt like the drums were a little loud in the mix. I have to admit the track isn't really my thing, but I do think you did a good job. there's no real sub bass in there and what bass there is seems quite monotone. The mix is ok except it sounded like it was clipping at the start. Whole tune is a bit to quiteSubmitted by Mike Native on Thu, 2006-06-01 17:34.
Whole tune is a bit to quite and lacks punch and sub bass. Idea (music) is not bad but it could be pulled off a bit better. peace mike wasnt really into this one,Submitted by Dj Obscure on Fri, 2006-06-02 03:40.
wasnt really into this one, thing is u could have chosen well better tune to remix, maybe u just like this tune i dont know but i dont think it works well as a dnb remix, now a pac or nas tune is a diff story, but im rambling on here back to tune, the beats are pretty nice and the bass is ok, just not my thing i dont know. it all soundedSubmitted by 822 on Tue, 2006-05-30 22:07.
i dont know. it all sounded like the vocals were going on their own rhythm, i have no idea how to make it sound better i have never mixed in vocalsg as extensively as this. nice job on the song components. feeling the little remix ofSubmitted by Golem on Thu, 2006-05-25 21:07.
feeling the little remix of one minute man doesnt fit with pad at all or the synth that comes in, or the lead that comes in after amen needs alot more punch m8 very weak so does bass not really feeling this the elements clash way too much, urban - chillout-dark and techy all in one tune im sorry but it doesnt fit! |
