191 - Well, I'd know this

191 - Well, I'd know this was Crank even if his name wasn't on it.  Those wicked drums and the atomsphere.  The voice, while at first seems like a pisstake is a bit of genius as it makes the voices seem similar in the sex scenes.  Regarding the mix, the mastering is pretty good, but I thought the drums could be brightened up just a tiny bit and something sounds slightly too compressed, possibly on the master -Contayjen

189 - Crank – Most thought has been put into that track. It is original, and stands above the other tunes because of the mad vocal and the genius of the sex scene vocal merger. It does get a little repetitive in places, but the vocal interest keeps you listening. Strong beats. Best mix down by far. - Essence

We believe this track stands out due to its originality and presentation.  Excellent work, and one of our chosen 2.

nice and loud...vocal maybe

nice and loud...vocal maybe too loud in relation, personal pref perhaps. fucking love the breaks man, nice work. unsure about the sub, maybe my phones don't represent it well. might be nice to give the ears a break from the warping intro synths, which really never stop throughout the track... (except briefly in the second breakdown.) hehe nice porn vox Eye-wink you made it match well with the other vocal. i like the sweeping synth-stabline, that element may be nice earlier in the track? the dominator-like synth towards the end may be a bit hot. maybe needs a bit of mixdown fine tuning. overall quite well done, i suppose my only major gripe is in the arrangement, and that could be construed largely as a matter of personal preference.

not bad not bad. not sure why the voice was pitched up so much as essence voice really isnt that bad in the first place Sticking out tongue . maybe it was a tempo thing im not sure but the tune was nice. kinda reminded me some happy hardcore instruments used with dnb but worked well.

Good work, really like the tune, lots going on, great beats etc

The only thing I would say is the vocals are very highly pitched which ruined it little for me.  Maybe if I hadn t heard the original vocals it wouldn t matter.  Would hear the track in a different light.

But still great tune.

Hmmm, what to say about this

Hmmm, what to say about this track? Like the DnB tune aspect, in fact, love the tune but the vocals are way too pitched up for me (don't like chipmunks) and was there really any need for the porno bit? Sorry dude.

I like the general feeling

I like the general feeling that the track gives and I really like the way u have built up the atmospheric sound image , but the whole "smurf-pitch" feels a bit 90's and isn't really working in relation with the track.
The whole porn thing in the middle is something that u could have removed, makes it a little lame.

great beats and good track

great beats and good track overall , apart from one draw back.....the chipmunk style vocals......if the vocals sounded better this would be much better!

Great atmospherics and good

Great atmospherics and good break with plenty of fills and nice slightly distorted kick and snare EQ just right.  Personally I don’t like the Chipmunks style of Vocals.  Rather than taking the whole vocal arrangement up an octave, it might have worked well by running this along side the original sample rate and alter the filter cut off and resonance.  For me, great track other than the vocals being played at this pitch.

its cool but not my kinda

Even the title makes me grin . A total novelty of a track. One to not play the grand children one day .....wmhahahahaha. I like this because it was dirty and naughty - the kind of record you rush to turn down when your family are around ;p

The kind of record that makes you squirm and say " what did she just say?"...lol. I had to keep playing it back to absorb what "I" had just said...genius. Made me think it sounded like me - I wonder how many people will not realise it wasn't me - cheers Crank Jawdropping!!! lol

Wookie Pic and this track go hand in hand !

Hey what's up. This is my reivew - sorry I didn't get it in ealier.

I'm not too sure what I think about this track. It makes sense during the 'naughtly' breakdown, but don't know yet. I've listened to it a few times as it was one of the winners of the comp (congrats). Conceptually it's a genius idea "going to inject you". Nasty insertions etc.

It seems that a real bass line is absent from the track tho but I"m not on my proper monitors so I can't really say. Obviously it's prime work tho and a perfect mixdown as contaygen said so and it won the compo! Bigups.

ez!
