Now I really like the industrial sounding drums, the arppegios are also nicely done, but the bass is weak. It sounds stereo widened or even phase reversed to me…why would you want to do that to your bassline? I mean you can hear it well in the mix, but it severely lacks punch, and looking at the spectrum analyzer, it’s quite low. I’ve always thought that a stereo bassline was a no-no, especially in drum’n’bass. Arrangement-wise, the tune sounds abit unfinished imho, but with some more work on it, this tune could sound very, very good.
