#154. This tune goes in strong from the off. Heavy beats and vibes. Like the breakdown, and the drop is deadly as well. Kinda funky beats which are different to the norm. This tune is proper angry! Got to say this is darker than I usually like, but I could imagine the damage this would cause in a rave. All round well produced tune. Love the outro, thats phat. wow mad scinentsclub. thisSubmitted by Stockholm on Wed, 2006-11-01 08:26.

154 - shores of the unknown - Starts well, nice atmospheres and vibe and the vocals go well. Good layering of sounds. When it drops at 1:30 it kicks arse. Proper floorsmasher this one, nice power behind it, though slightly thin sounding mix. The snares really lack weight. That high-up synth reminds me of the music for Wipeout2097 for some reason. Good riffage for dnb too, and I like the way it goes from brutal to euphoric at the end. I love the general vibe in this one, good work, it just needs some phattening up a tad in the mixing and some mastering. wow this tune is real nice,Submitted by Golem on Thu, 2006-10-26 15:28.
wow this tune is real nice, amen is nice on intro pads and vocal is cool too love that reverse break, fx is heavy m8.....:( but i dont really like the drop i think this tune could be better with more sub and reese notation, a really good intro, i was expecting a real nasty darkside tune (which i love) but im not keen on this drop much, mastering quality is super nice but i recommend a more solid bassline. oooh this intro sounds likeSubmitted by ruffian on Fri, 2006-10-27 14:46.
oooh this intro sounds like my kind of track! that vocoded shit sounds perfect. a little too much leadsynthwork for my taste, perhaps i would've used it a bit more sparingly? that's nitpicking too straightaway this track isSubmitted by Dj Obscure on Wed, 2006-11-01 05:20.
straightaway this track is appealing, the perc sounds good, the pads and synths sound good, love the reverses. the samp fits well with the other sounds. the only thing i dont like about it is the stabbiness of the bass, its sorta like u know whats in front of u soon as u realise what type of tune it is and what sort of bass it has, just got a bit boring after a while, very well produced and good ideas all round though, bigup i do like this track. Whoa this is a stomper! iSubmitted by DJ Shiver on Thu, 2006-10-26 20:30.
Whoa this is a stomper! i like this a lot, its really original and has a lot of levels that reveal themselves throughout it. I thought ythe drums seemed a bit quiet also the high end noisy business could do with more definition. Other than that, this is a brilliantly produced slice of darkness. nice one First off, sickSubmitted by Bluntman and Co... on Sat, 2006-10-28 00:11.
First off, sick intro.....that robotic voice goes great with it. When the main beat kicks in that synth is hot, good beat and backround, well produced and mixed well, sounds like something a tech itch or a diesilboy would make .The main beat, the boom tap,tap,tap,tap,tap,....would have like to hear that change up,but thats just my taste. Nothing wrong with it on the production aspects, sick tune the moment this track startsSubmitted by mabus on Tue, 2006-10-31 02:04.
the moment this track starts you know its going to be heavy. and it doesn't disappoint. a good dark track without trying too hard to be super dark, i did get a little bored of that beat, would have liked to maybe hear some different breaks chucked in really distorted just randomly. when you had some double kicks in there, that really worked well i though, makes you feel like you are getting kicked in the stomach nice intro but the drums areSubmitted by Royalston on Thu, 2006-10-26 06:00.
nice intro but the drums are muddied - theres too much competing with them drop - drums too quiet. No bass. no sub really either. still, not bad poor limewax style tune, notSubmitted by ptah on Tue, 2006-10-24 20:44.
poor limewax style tune, not really my favourite style, but still. the edits could be much more interesting, you forgot to put james brown "uh"s in like most anything tech itch-influenced, i supppose the "go" makes up for that |
