172 - Good volume and solid subs from the start...I could hear this going down in a club.  There are quite a few tracks in this comp that are very close to if not signable in my opinion and this is one of them.  Chilled but energetic liquid vibe going on here.  The vocals work well and I'm liking the fact that this is the 4th track in a row I have listened to with vox. I see dnb going in this direction.  Nice length on this one too, not too long or too short.  The atmosphere is maintained all the way through and the mastering is reasonably tight.  Loving those bongos, they go well with this style.  Some of the sounds are a bit rinsed for dnb in general, like the bird-type sounds and the beats but they are placed in this track and work well.

right off the bat...i love this beat...sounds like something Dj Flight would play on her show,if u know who that is...anyway...sick party vibes going on, bass is hot...nice voice samples, the turn it around baby, and how you delay the voice is a nice touch. This one alomost started a mini rave in my house. Also one of my fav tracks in this compo.

Maybe i would have waiting something new to arrive before 2nd drop. Drop itself works fine but nothing new really arrives :/. With some work more this one would be awesome track. Turn around samlpe was abit overused. 9

Nice vocal mix with a kickass sub-bas doin it for me.
Nice relaxing atmospheric sound and with a good flow to the beats, definetly a favourite. Some more cymbals would be great btw, to fill out the sound a little bit more...

Liking the liquid vibes of this one.

Nice deep bassline, rounded and punchy, just how it should be.

Drums are quality - nothing wrong to say about them really. Sound tight and well programmed.

Vox samples: work really well, EFX on them sounds great. Again, nothing bad to say about them.

Synths: Love the stereo width on these, bouncing all over the place!

Love the intro!!!  Breaks, Ambience and FX are really good, throughout the song!  Really like the samples used, even though its more chilled than what I'd typically listen to, which is v.interestin Only thing is you should probably add a light-synth/distortion to the bass so its not just sub cuz it seems barely noticable.  I can feel it more than I hear it, is that what U intended?  i had to turn my sub up either way.  Otherwise perfect production for me!

cool percussions intro.. they got good sounding space.
yay, sounds very professional. everything fits well together,
good selection of sounds/samples. the break is fresh.
but to me the sub is too low.. and  all track long a lil bit monotone..
but that fact doesnt matter. the only sad thing is the missing BASS!!
if there would be more bass, i would give this one one full point more, its a pity =( !

This one sounds nice right off the bat... great breaks, great sound selection, sub comes in hard... nice processing on that vox too. I can see myself mixing this one into the beginning of a set, gearing up for the really hard-hitting shit YES there's my favorite old-school sample of all time too! I guess I would like to hear it drop harder after the first breakdown, but that's just me. Again, real nice synthwork here. Sounding pretty pro on mixdown too. I think I know who did this one... good shit, but not hard enough for me I can see this one winning the comp this time tho.

#172 Nice pad and beats on this.  Beautiful intro, and good breakdown.  Like the lead synth, this is a real nice chilled out tune, real quality production.  Only thing that lets this down is theres no bassline.  You must of had the bass on mute when bouncing or something.  Thats a real shame man, you probably would have been in the 9s with the bass.  Its still very good tho.

Boh, likeing the sound of this straightaway. Nive filtered hats, perc. Them drum rolls are nice, gotta say im not a fan of that synth that comes in, you could have used something well more chilling than that imo, it seems trancy/cheesy. That vocal is nice though man, n the next synth that comes in, the oldskoolish one . Ooh that trancy/cheesy ones back, id either mash taht up or remove it. taht just me though.The sub is nice man, I dont think there is enough to this track though to be perfectly honest. good job though man nice track.

172 - Nice slightly oldschool fee. lead is a touch off key but works alright with the oldschool liquid feel. A little bit repetitive perhaps. The bass is pure sub-bass. I'd add some harmonics to the sine, cause I can't hear it on my phones, which mean that the mixdown would only work on a big system. Not a bad tune. Pretty good production. Just needs some harmonics on the bass, and some EQ on the kick etc
