high-energy intro! i like it, although a little too much hiss present. ooooh nice reeces. the break is decent, but perhaps could use more edits/fills (i always seem to say that tho Eye-wink). definitely need to eq out some high-end hiss. nice arrangement, i can see this one getting ppl to move their asses on the floor. no real first breakdown, again maybe it's just me but i really like to hear a breakdown around 1:30 for mixability's sake. other than that and the high-end needing toned down somewhere, this is a slammin track! it's a bit quiet overall and there's a bit of residual bleeping going on at the end too, gotta get rid of that.

#163.  The little vocal is nice, wasn't expecting that brutal (Reece?) synths to come in to play, but the tune drops wicked this is a proper dancefloor smasher.  Arrangement is good, coz although not much develops in the tune, it doesn't get boring.

once the drop comes its great, but the leadup to it didnt really work for me, sounded a bit disjointed. the vocal sample and lead need some separation as they clash a bit. drums sounding nice, the song has an overall good structure the breakdowns drops etc come in at all the right places. maybe some half time beats in the breakdown would sound good? just an idea. nice work.

163 - Good rough old skool sounds in this one.  The reece is probably a bit too loud compared to the sample in the into.  The sample works, though its probably been around a bit and gives the track a jungle feel, with the amen/reece action.

The riffs and arrangement are the outstanding elements in this track.  The mix is actually okay and this would work on the floor, though is sounds a little dated for my tastes.

so right away you've got a vocal that's sure to be in my head for years.  'da da da da'..  So it's catchy immediately.

Love the tone of the reece.  Sounds perfect.  The drums through the intro are weak though, completely buried under the rest of the track.  Work on that mix.

Once it breaks out I totally identify with the track.  I play stuff like this on occasion, the whole ooh-wah ooh-wah ooh-wah bass line 2 step thing.

This track loses more than half of itself in mono.  You should think about always running at least your bass in mono, if not your bass and your drums.  If it ever gets played on the radio or pressed to record, it's gonna get pushed to mono, and this track as it is would never survive the transition.  You got a mixer where you can switch between mono and stereo as you listen to it?  Try it, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Outside of the intro and the breakdown that's like the intro, the track goes pretty well with itself..  The basslines are great, but I'd work on the balancing of the layers, volume wise.  Sub is pretty good.  Kick needs more oomph, definitely.  Snare comes through well.

I wish the rest of the track came through as clearly as the reece does.  The reece sounds PRO dude.  Is that a sample or your synth work?  I'd like to know how you made it. Smiling

Arrangement wise it's solid.  It would be easy to mix, and would definitely work on a dancefloor.  My only complaints are with your mix.

Arrangement - 4.5
Mix/Eq - 3.0
Total Score - 7.5

Dada da daaa, like the intro/vocla samp. Sick beat and bass, synth sound is tight. Defenatly somthing to get down too. Only thing is for me it gets to repettive, not so reptitve that its bad,but that it gets kinda old. Other than that im feeling it,in a club it wouldnt matter because id be too busy dancin...sick tune.

i dont like the vocal on this m8, that synth/reese is way too loud break is so quiet wheres the intro? the second part of the drop is ok but is too samey break needs some serious compression.

I really like the opening

I really like the opening loop...but the first synth is too loud (scared the crap out of me)...Drum could be turned up about 6db.
The crazy full-on drums and the synth after the drop seem to have no connection with the intro loop...the start loop is slow and everything else is super-fast. That vocal loop suggests a slower bassline to me (which you seem to have put in there occasionally).
Also needs more kick drum and the bass needs definition and clarity.

fat reese. kick is lacking a bit. the vocal and the aggressive reese is at odds during breakdowns. nice rolling tune. the vocal sits well with the main reese though

I like the perc, the voc

I like the perc, the voc seems pretty nice although not something id use. i thought the bass could have been introduced a bit more gradually, didnt really sound right to come in like it did. the drop sounds ok , but is lacking beats imo. not a bad track not into it that much though.
