like what you did with the vocals........seemed off on some parts to me ,only on some words that essence was saying, other than that the track is good....good beat, good backround

This tune has got some real vibes, wicked use of the vocals which seem to fit over the beats nicely.  I like the way this producer has chopped up little phrases of the vocal to use.  The beats have a lot of character as well, although maybe some EQing would bring them out even more.

Like the vibe to the track, deep tune.
Drum patterns are busy, but i think a bit too quiet and muddy in the mix.

good tune though, i'm slowly admitting defeat to myself!!

Nice deep basses. I like how

Nice deep basses. I like how the track builds up after the reversed beat, adding the ride cymbal/bell to give a little extra crisp to the drum mix. There could be a bit more variation in the beat i.m.o.

so the further I got through this track the more I realized how well it was mixed.  Might not be the top of the game, but nothing distracts my ear from anything else.. I can hear every element very clearly,  and for that you start off high, and it's the arrangment left to talk about.

1.) the vocal bits in the beginning didn't do it for me.  I like that you chopped them up and did something original with them, but the edits seemed dry and forced.  coulda used more release or reverb or something to make the cut off not so abrubt.

2.) it ends very suddenly..

3.) I can't imagine this track would be very good for general mixing because of it's format, but you may be aiming more for the arm chair than the dance floor, so I won't make to big a deal of it.  Really though, I felt like this track could have been longer to give room for the different elements to shine by themselves rather than all together at once.

I'm giving this one a 7, pretty solid, but nothing I'd pick up if I were to find it at the record store.  (hah, like I even GO to record stores anymore with online ordering being what it is..)

Not to sure bout this

Not to sure bout this one

Think the break is good but the whole tune sounds like an intro to me (a good intro mind you) well produced, just think it needs an extra noise in it to make it sound like it's dropped

112- Production not so

112- Production not so clear, but still Good. Really like the ideas on this track with the vocals...shows a bit of creativity and imagination- not just laying the original vocal down - you played with it. The vocal does sound quite harsh in places , but it works still ...almost organ like Eye-wink Liking the pace of the track- directed. Slightly too much going on at the top end, the bell/cymbal/high-hat sound - but that could just be MP3 playing it's nasty part Eye-wink Good Breakdown- Bass sounding Phat, and interesting Drop to follow. I will put my cards on the table and say whoever made this spins tunes, cause it feels DJ friendly to me.
