Nice tune Reminds me da darkside that got me into drum n bass 98 style, like some vintage John B (secrets) Nasty filter bass business wicked tune. Would definitely play this tune out Only slight criticism is the sound quality is a little tiny bit duff, maybe it's just the MP3 compression, and the one you have at home is better but I would like to hear it proper crisp then it would be Phat 98 - Excellent intro...greatSubmitted by Contayjen on Mon, 2006-05-29 15:33.
98 - Excellent intro...great atmospheres, and there's that phat reece again I recognise...wicked filters on that. Aggressive and dark, very danceable groove. Some sections have quite a bit of space. You could have put a bit more into the arrangment but what's there is all muscle. No problems with the mix I could hear. dirty, this is the style imSubmitted by Terra-Rise on Fri, 2006-05-26 09:48.
dirty, this is the style im more into, nice intro drops well. The mix could do with a little bit more compression so that the drum switches all sit nicely. could also do with some more sound stabs aswell to fill the depth off the tune out a bit more. some nice technical work going on in here, although that voice sample man... Its got a nasty little pop!!!! the way it ended to was a little bit sharp and sudded, should try breaking out smoothly, like droppin bass out and stuff. still overall its pretty gd track Cool intro, liking those voxSubmitted by Mista Rilla on Sat, 2006-05-27 01:06.
Cool intro, liking those vox stabs and the introduction of the elements, smoothly done. You've given the "guts" of the tune a good hustle without crowding it out too much. I happily listened to this one a few times down and wiked. i was justSubmitted by 822 on Tue, 2006-05-30 22:02.
down and wiked. i was just actually dancing around. hehe. very cool, drum switching/jugling from one sound set to the other, and then the other. i like that a lot. simple but it gets the job done. REWIND, im listeing to this again i like. nice reggae drum rhythm. could have used some sort of theme, maybe another sample, but good irregardless. beats are well producedSubmitted by Dj Obscure on Fri, 2006-06-02 03:32.
beats are well produced mate, the guy voc works very well, the darkness speaks for itself, i love those stabby tings, it seems like the old stop n starter at first then it rolls like me when i get a bag of w**d hehe, bad tune mate Best track i've heard soSubmitted by DJ Shiver on Thu, 2006-05-25 00:00.
Best track i've heard so far. Bass is good and drums are ok but could be brighter and have more impact. Vocal got on my nerves towards the end but overall heavy tune, sounds good nice and loud. here are some awsomesSubmitted by Stockholm on Sat, 2006-05-27 06:49.

aha. phat bass, punchy drums, reeces, everything for the dancefloor, but too common and banal i think.. too emtpy.. and no ending. sorry. arrangment: this track isSubmitted by synrgy on Wed, 2006-05-24 16:07.
arrangment: this track is more my speed. Kinda dark, heavy drums. My only major complaint is that the little 'go' voice is HELLA annoying. It was cool for about 5 seconds, but after that, let it go man. Let it go. eq-ing: here's where this track falls short. If it sounded better eq-wise it would be my new favorite of the bunch so far. I don't know where to begin... The drums need more punch, and probably need to come up a little volume wise. They are the driving force of the track and need to be treated as such. The bassline is good, but again, doesn't sound like I know you want it to sound like. I can tell by the arrangment that it's supposed to KNOCK but it just doesn't. If you're not already, try layering a sub underneath it, and then roll back the sub freq. from the lead bass sound you already have. That should give the mids and tops of your bass some room to breath. your arrangement starts you off at a 9, but I gotta take off a couple points for the uber-annoying 'go voice' and the mastering issues, so it gets a 6.5. |
